Philippe is a digital artist who teaches across many of our Creative Digital Media courses – including 3D modelling with Blender, Photoshop, Web Design, Critical Theory and Communication Skills. Philippe is the Senior Tutor on the Access to Creative Digital Media course. He holds a Bachelors degree in Fine Art from Northumbria University, a Masters in Fine Art from Goldsmiths University, as well as a PGCE from Canterbury Christ Church University.

His teaching experience has included work across many London Colleges. Philippe also worked in Brixton Prison, where he spent 12 years working as the Art and Design teacher and Curriculum Manager for the Creative Industries. During that time, he was also an Advanced Practitioner and Teaching Coach in prisons London-wide.

Philippe has had artworks displayed in the VTO Gallery, Tate Britain and at the London Festival of Architecture, and has worked with the Hayward Gallery on Inclusion and Community Outreach. Outside of teaching, he has also worked as a Design and Web Consultant, developing communication strategies in the business, non-profit and charity sectors.

As a tutor, Philippe is interested in developing curiosity, mental fluidity and creativity in students as learned skills, and this is a common thread in all of his teaching practices.
