Lydia Evans has taught a rich variety of photography courses at Morley since 2011 whilst continuing in her professional practice as a commissioned Editorial lifestyle and Portrait photographer. She has also presented a photography workshop at the University of the Arts London: Narrative in Portrait Photography at London College of Communication, and photography workshops for The Ideas Foundation that strongly links its content to real-life creative industry briefs. Lydia has also taught at City and Islington Sixth Form College on A level accredited courses.

Lydia continues to work as a commissioned Editorial Lifestyle and Portrait photographer, for Food and Travel clients such as Conde Nast Traveller, Rough Guides, Time Out City guides, and Insight Berlitz, and Magazine Features for BBC Homes and Antiques magazine, Country Living magazine, Thames & Hudson books, V&A Books, Waitrose Weekend, M&S, CSMA Club magazine and Wardour publishing amongst others. She has built her published work up from a passion for Documentary Reportage photography.

Prior to becoming a photographer in 2003, she was a magazine Art editor and had illustrations published by Vogue, Tatler, Oxford University Press, various BBC publications and a range of packaging for Boots PLC and Typhoo tea, amongst others.
