Lucy is a new member of the Morley Digital team and brings a wealth of experience in animation teaching and industry knowledge. She currently teaches the After Effects Animation and Stop Motion Animation courses at Morley College. A respected industry journalist she writes for: The Register/Ars, Technica/ScreenJabber/VICE, Interactive Designer – BBC, Animator – TVC and Nelvana Video Editing – Hungry Tiger. This summer sees her covering the events at Edinburgh Fringe.

Lucy has taught at Reigate School of art for 13 years and she holds a MA in Animation, a Certificate in Education and a BA in Media Arts.

“Throughout my career, I have continued to maintain my passion for personal projects and I have a keen interest in all aspects of the field, particularly independent animation and gaming. Ongoing professional practice and research as Contributor to The Register, Ars Technica and VICE means I have a strong relationship and constant day-to-day contact with AAA and independent games developers, publishers and technological innovators. Attending and reporting on a variety of related events and news features allows me to embed up to the minute professional/industry experience to enhance the student experience and promote student employability.”
