Show Opens Tues 30th January / Show Closes Sat 17th February 2018 / ‘Barry Till Gallery’ Morley College, London
‘The Morley Photography Courses’ at Level 2 and 3 teach a variety of photographic processes and genres with lessons concentrating on camera use through demonstration, practice and regular feedback. Students produce work to a professional standard, learning to produce highly technical images and practice image-editing workflows using computer software.
Working individually and in teams on challenging projects that encourage them to think creatively; the students not only understand their camera thoroughly but also begin to use it to produce work that displays a ‘voice’; going beyond mere camera control.
‘The Morley Photography Courses’ help our learners to prepare a professional portfolio of images to advance in a photography career, to apply to Higher Education at University or an ‘Access to HE’ course here at Morley.
“The Morley Photography students this year are already producing a wide of range of work to an exceptionally high standard. This exhibition focusing on their portrait and landscape work marks the mid-point of their year. We hope you enjoy this show”
